The Black wedge, a pair of black leather sandals that is popular with athletes and fashionistas, is launching a reward campaign to encourage people to upload photos of their bare feet.
The footwear, which costs $20 on Amazon, is the first of its kind and offers both a barefoot and a sandal.
Black wedges are popular among the tech community, with more than $20 million worth sold.
“If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to walk around barefoot, check out our video for some of the best footage from the black wedge’s launch,” the website says.
“We’ve made a few tweaks to the design to give you a more modern take on the concept, including the addition of our trademark rubber sole for maximum traction.”
Users can upload photos from a number of sources including their own social media accounts, their own pictures, and other content on the Black wedge’s website.
Users can also create their own profile on the shoes site.
“The black wedge is designed to be worn anywhere, but the most popular place to show off your feet is on the dance floor or on your dance floor,” the site says.
Black wedge shoes were launched in March 2016.
“While we’ve got a lot of technology on board, we’re also focused on keeping our design simple, so you can find your feet in seconds,” Black wedge founder and CEO Mike O’Connor told Business Insider in 2016.
Black Wedge is now available for pre-order and will go on sale in July, with a suggested retail price of $39.99.
